The “Currywurst” (Curry-Sausage) is a true icon of German food culture.
Alphütte’s “SPECIAL” version is following the recipe of Volkswagen’s own butchery department in Wolfsburg, Germany, where they used to produce more than 7 million Currywurst per year!
This variant of the German Currywurst is also known as the “Red Curry-Sausage”. In Germany, Currywurst is always served with french fries, Curry-Sauce and – sometimes – with Mayonnaise.
Our “Currywurst SPECIAL” is made of 100% Taiwanese pork. It is nicely smoked and we definitely recommend to pair it with Alphütte’s homemade CURRY-SAUCE!
